I have 43 years of experience as a physiotherapist. I graduated from UCT in 1980 with a BSc Physiotherapy and completed my MSc in orthopaedics at Stellenbosch University in 2005. I ran my own practice, Celia Smith & Associates, in Cape Town for 36 years, and am now practicing as Celia Mutti.

I now practice part-time in Claremont, in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, and also have treatment facilities in Noordhoek.

My passion is treating orthopaedic conditions, including rehabilitation to strengthen and correct biomechanical deficiencies as well as post-operative rehabilitation.
My Services
General Treatments
I have a lot of experience in treating neck and back pain as well as painful shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. Each treatment is individualised and specific to the patient, and is usually 45 mins in duration.
Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is an integral part of the recovery process, not only post-operatively, but applies to most pain conditions. It includes strengthening and mobilising exercises as well as balance work.
